A Dunwoody High School football and baseball star, Kip was recruited by Yale University's football team while studying economics. After graduation in 1998, Kip moved to Hollywood, where he modeled and appeared in minor TV roles. Ironically, it was a return to Atlanta to film Remember the Titans that gave him his first major role - that of "Sunshine," the California hippie quarterback who is pivotal in turning around the Virginia High School football team.
