Bishop Eddie Long Scandal |
Maurice Robinson, Anthony Flagg, Jamal Parris, and Spencer LeGrande made sexual allegations about their relationships with the "Bishop" of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church of Lithonia, Ga. while studying at schools run by the church. Lawyers for the young men had gotten permission to depose Long for a November trial date. In the deposition Long would be under oath, requiring him to reveal his relationships with these young men and perhaps others. Even more of a problem for Long would be discovery, which could force him to release thousands of photographs and receipts to the court.
