  First meeting of Georgia's Trustees

The Trustees for Establishing the Colony of Georgia in America meet at Old Palace Yard in Westminster, London for the purpose of organizing the group of men who will oversee the state during the next 21 years. The charter for the new colony strictly forbids trustees from holding office, owning land or making a profit in any way.
