Tiger Woods wins 2007 PGA Tournament
Returning to the haunts of Georgia legendary golfer Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods won two trophies when he finished twenty-three under at the East Lake Country Club in Atlanta, the tournament trophy and the FedEx trophy. During the course of his incredible run, Tiger Woods wound up breaking the tournament record set by Bart Bryant in 2005 by six strokes. It was East Lake where Jones learned to play golf as he grew up.
The win moved Woods within one victory of Arnold Palmer for fourth on the all-time win list and within range of No. 3 Ben Hogan's 64. Sam Snead (82) and Jack Nicklaus (73) are starting to look vulnerable, too.
