September 12, 1975 The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Facility in Glynco, Georgia, was dedicated.
October 29, 1975 Linda Ronstadt opens the Fox Theater in Atlanta, ten months after the theater had been closed "for good." Atlanta Landmarks borrowed $1.8 million to buy the building and initiated the Save the Fox campaign.

November 8, 1975 The Fighting Irish played Georgia Tech. At the end of the game Senior Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger played in two plays against the Yellowjackets, sacking QB Rudy Allen. This would later be the inspiration for the 1993 movie Rudy.
